From 15 November to 31 January, wooden huts at Fünftes Viertel are waiting for people with good ideas: food, drinks, baked goods or your label. Here’s everything you need to know up front, with the request form further down.

A wooden hut right on the square, between fire barrels, fairy lights and containers. You bring the rest.

Do I have to stay for the whole season?
Yes. The Winter Market only runs for a few weeks, from 15 November to 31 January, and every hut is open for the whole season.
What’s inside the hut?
A counter, a water connection and a limited power supply. Because the power is limited, gas appliances are welcome. Tell us in the form which equipment you’re bringing.
Which documents do I need?
A German trade registration (Gewerbeanmeldung) and business liability insurance. If you sell food, you also need the health instruction under § 43 of the German Infection Protection Act.
How will my hut be designed?
Signage is the same for every hut, so the market looks like one piece. That’s covered by an equipment fee in the rental agreement, and we sort out signs and decoration together with you.
